Jared McBrearty , a proud Connecticut native, has spent most of his life building—both literally and figuratively. His work ethic took root early, starting at just 11 years old with odd jobs and farm work during the summers. By 16, he was pouring concrete, and before long, he had worked his way up through the ranks to foreman and supervisor roles. In 2011, Jared launched his first concrete construction business. During the slow winter months, he and a close friend began tackling interior renovation projects—a partnership that would later evolve into A1 Home Improvement . Over the past 15 years, Jared has transitioned into full-scale home renovations and property investments, mastering the art of house flipping and business growth. Jared McBrearty: From Hard Work to Home Innovation in Connecticut

Jared McBrearty, a lifelong central Connecticut resident, began working at age 11 and entered construction at 16, starting with concrete. After rising to foreman and supervisor roles, he launched his first concrete business in 2011. Seasonal slowdowns led him into interior renovations with a close friend—now his business partner at A1 Home Improvement.

Over the past 15 years, Jared transitioned into home renovations and house flipping. Since officially joining A1 in 2022, he’s helped grow the company’s revenue by 4–5x, while expanding services in roofing, siding, and windows.

Jared contributes to all areas of the business, from marketing to installation innovation. In 2024, he helped launch A1 Solar, quickly becoming a top solar provider in Connecticut.

A father, mentor, and community leader, Jared enjoys soccer with his son, supports addiction recovery efforts, and actively serves his parish and the Knights of Columbus.
